The construction site is located in the North East New Territories New Development Area of Hong Kong, adjacent to the planned Northern Link Kwu Tung.
The Objective of this 4S Labelling project is the network coverage of the entire site under conditions where 4G/5G signals are extremely weak or even completely unreceivable.

The Challenge of this project is the Lack of high-speed, long-distance stable private network and the Lackof basic environment for the development and application of Industry 4.0. Therefore, the traditional public network can be difficult to adapt to manage site safety, engineering quality, and project progress, which leads to high management costs and lowefficiency.
As shown in the figure on the right:  A wireless broadband IoT base station is placed at the office pole, which is fixed to the top of the pole by a rope and connected to an external battery for power supply. At the same time, the base station is connected to the CPE with a network cable, so that the external network is introduced into the site where there is no 4G/5G signal.
One wireless broadband IoT BTS is placed at the site container (point 2 in the figure), tied to the fence by tie-wraps, and connected to an external battery for power supply to realise the WiFi coverage function in the area.

Project Outcome

1. WB-IoT device is connected normally with signal strength around 68db, good signal connection strength.

2. When using mobile phones and computers to connect to the WB-IoT device wirelessly in the WiFi coverage area, the WiFi Internet connection is normal and smooth, the Internet function is smooth without lagging, and there is no delay in audio/video playback.

3. This network will serve as a data transmission hub (One Network) for customers, enabling the realization of a centralized management plat form (One Platform) and an smart site safety management system (One System).

What's the different between current Internet of Things and Landlink?
The maximum transmission speed of the current Internet of Things is 1mbps, which is not  popularized, and the popularized IoT technology can only support less than 100k. However, the upload bandwid of Landlink is more than 200Mbps.
What's the different between Mesh WiFi (Qualcomm Patents) and Landlink?
The network bridge number of Mesh WiFi is 3 packs only. Landlink broke through the technical bottle neck of Qualcomm Mesh wireless transmission signal failure (2% vs.50%). 60 km of multi-node wireless connection and more than 30 nodesare supported by Landlink Technology.
