Tunnel Construction

During the construction process of this tunnel, the deployment of wireless base station involves the following two aspects of the deployment requirements constraints:
(1) Deployment distance: In order to ensure the performance of self-organised network while taking into account the economic requirements, the test distance of 400 m still cannot meet the distance requirements of the wireless base station deployment scheme in real engineering scenarios.
(2) Deployment method: To avoid interfering with the passage of heavy machinery and vehicles, as well as to ensure the stability of the wireless base station installation, the wireless base station can not be installed on a tripod at a certain distance from the wall of the tunnel.

Tunnel Construction Shield Method
- Our innovative approach incorporates integrated base station equipment within the tunnel, offering a comprehensive one-stop solution that encompasses video surveillance, line-wide positioning, uninterrupted power supply (UPS), and communication capabilities, all streamlined into a single, multifunctional system.

- The equipment mounted on the tube sheet utilizes wireless connectivity, thereby eliminating the reliance on conventional fiber-optic cabling. This advancement significantly enhances both construction and maintenance efficiency.

- By installing a base station at the tail of the shield machine, data pertaining to the machine's operations can be wirelessly transmitted back to the control center via the base stations mounted along the tunnel walls, ensuring seamless communication and monitoring.
Integrated Telecommunications
Seamless integration with the site's existing analog intercom systems is achievable, significantly enhancing usability and capacity without being constrained by frequency limitations.
