The Objective of this 4S Labelling project is to rehabilitate of 1 section of existing sewage rising main and construct of a new sewage risingmain with a total length of about 2.8 km alongside the existing one. The construction and rehabilitation works will adequately improve the reliability of the concerned parts of the sewerage network.

Customised 4S Solutions

The accidents in a confined construction site are always caused by Lack of real time monitoring, No immediate rescue and Lack of safety awareness. These problems can be solved by using the Landlink-based 4S Solutions System developed by SCLab.
In this project, Smart watch, Electronic Lock and Key System, Digitized Permit-To-Work and Confined Space Monitoring System were offered to protect workers' safety and monitor project progress inreal time.

Confined Space Monitoring System

Real time gas detection:
• Ensure a safety environment before confined space work.
c Monitor the change of the confined space environment.
AI Camera in confined space:
• Identify unsafe behaviors and recorded in CMP automatically.
• 200m pipe is completely monitorable.

Project Outcome

1. The AI Camera not only monitors PPE, but also unsafe behaviours such as smoking.

2. In addition to reducing the amount of confined space, the watch can also display the wearer's heart beat, blood oxygen and step count. Therefore, workers can also check their own health condition.

3. The electronic watch system enables the matching of more than 1,000 workers and accessories.

4. The CMP Platform centralises the processing of all types of permit applications, optimising the management process and ultimately improving construction efficiency.

5. AI Gas Detector provides more accurate data than similar products on the market.

6. Electronic locks prevent workers without DCWs from entering confined spaces, thus reducing accidents and increasing the wear rate of the watch.

Technical Innovations

Everything you need to know about this 4S Labelling Project.
Will there be any additional risk of going into a confined space to change the power supply?
Our system will display the power usage of the smart lens and smart gas detector in the confined space. In case there is no relative work, we can remotely controlthe switch to increase the battery usage. In addition, when changing the battery, we can first use the portable gas detector to make sure the confined space is suitable for entering to change the battery.
If there is a network problem, will the 4S AI Camera still work properly?
Yes, we have adjusted the quality of the camera to 720p to meet the needs of the screen and the network.
Will workers refuse to wear the watch due to the nature of their work?
As for the nature of work, such as welding, it is not necessary to weld all day long, so we still advocate wearing a watch after finishing the process to ensure the safety of workers.
How do I make sure the watch is correctly matched?
We conduct regular spot checks to ensure the correct fit and workers are required to wear their own watches for the operation of the electronic locks.
What if the watch is in a non-working position?
To prevent the watch from being in a non-working position, our watches are equipped with a positioning function and a corresponding watch collection and dispatch programme.
Do I need to supervise the 4s Centre?
After our experience in the past few months, there must be at least one to two full-time professionals to operate the centre.
What if there is a deliberate damage to the 4S smart watch?
We have measures in place such as charging an administration fee.
